For general requirements for safety, construction and materials of gas ovens and compartment grills the Standard <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO\/DIS 21364-1:2019<\/span><\/span> applies.<\/p>\n<p>This Part covers the following gas cooking appliances:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>ovens with natural or forced convection;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>pyrolytic ovens and pyrolytic compartment grills;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>compartment grills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>being built-in, part of a cooking appliance or table top.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>oven accessories<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It does not cover gas ovens and compartment grills intended for outdoor use and\/or commercial use as well as electrical heated elements as part of the appliance.
