These requirements apply in addition to the general requirements specified in BS 3970-1.<\/p>\n<p>The sterilizer, which has a mass not exceeding 75 kg, is specified to withstand a design pressure not exceeding 2.65 bar<sup>2)<\/sup> and to operate fully automatically for one pre-determined cycle selected from within the temperature range 115 \u00b0C to 138 \u00b0C (see Table 1).<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>NOTE 1 Sterilizers complying with this specification may not be suitable for operation in zones of risk associated with the use of flammable materials.<\/p>\n<p>NOTE 2 The titles of the publications referred to in this standard are listed on the inside back cover.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Fertilizers.
