This part of <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO&nbsp;17225<\/span><\/span> covers only wood pellets produced from the following raw materials (see <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO&nbsp;17225-1<\/span>, Table&nbsp;1<\/span>):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>1.1 Forest, plantation and other virgin wood;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>1.2 By-products and residues from wood processing industry;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>1.3.1 Chemically untreated used wood.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thermally treated biomass pellets (e.g. torrefied pellets) are not included in the scope of this part of <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO&nbsp;17225<\/span><\/span>.
