Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.1<\/span> The objective of this test method is to determine the carbon dioxide (CO2<\/span><\/sub>) loss from plastic beverage containers after a specified period of storage time.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

1.2<\/span> Factors contributing to this pressure loss are volume expansion and the gas transport characteristics of the package, including permeation and leakage.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

1.3<\/span> The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
