Such exchanges are used for<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>pre-flight planning for tracking or navigation support;<\/li>\n<li>scheduling tracking support;<\/li>\n<li>carrying out tracking operations (sometimes called metric predicts);<\/li>\n<li>performing orbit comparisons;<\/li>\n<li>carrying out navigation operations such as orbit propagation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ISO 22644:2006 includes sets of requirements and criteria that the message formats have been designed to meet.
