Sets out terms used in the Australian lock industry and marketplace to aid in the use of other parts of the series on locksets and to help standardize the terminology. Also sets out testing and rating requirements intended as a product selection system enabling the consumer to choose the appropriate locksets suitable for the required application.
Scope
This Standard sets out the glossary of terms and the rating system required for the use of the AS 4145 suite of Standards.
