1.1 This Part describes a procedure for determining whether the edge of a film of paint or allied material remains “ a live” after a specified period of drying, when applied over the appropriate surface.
NOTE The term “wet edge time” is also known in the paint industry as “lapping time”, “live edge time” and “setting time”.
