Dieser Teil von EN 351 stellt für mit Holzschutzmitteln zu behandelndes Holz eine Klassifikation der Eindringtiefen des Holzschutzmittels auf und gibt eine Anleitung zur Klassifikation der Aufnahme. Diese sollten als Grundlage zur Festlegung von Schutzbehandlungen für spezielle Produkte angewendet werden. Dieser Teil von EN 351 enthält die Terminologie, zur Verwendung bei der Erstellung einer Spezifikation oder Produktnorm für eine Schutzbehandlung.
