1 Scope

1.1 These requirements cover nitrogen generator units for use in dry type fire sprinkler systems. This equipment is intended for installation in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions and the applicable requirements of the following standards:

a)    Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems, ANSI/NFPA 13.

b)    Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems in Low-Rise Residential Occupancies, ANSI/NFPA 13R.

c)    Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems in One- and Two-Family Dwellings and Manufactured Homes. ANSI/NFPA 13D

d)    National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70.
