These conductors shall be composed of a central core surrounded by one or more roller or die compacted layers of helically applied wires (Explanatory Note 1 and Note 2).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"SectionLevel2\">\n<p class=\"subsec1\">1.2&nbsp;The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in each system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other.
