Where there is conflict with specific precautions in individual ASTM methods, the latter shall take precedence.<\/p>\n<p>1.3 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard. The metric equivalent of inch-pound units may be approximate.<\/p>\n<p>1.4 <i>This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
