{"id":278522,"date":"2024-10-19T18:46:29","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T18:46:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-7725-2-11994\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T15:19:14","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T15:19:14","slug":"bs-7725-2-11994","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-7725-2-11994\/","title":{"rendered":"BS 7725-2.1:1994"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This technical report applies to those components of X-<small style=\"text-transform: uppercase\">ray equipment<\/small> which process <small style=\"text-transform: uppercase\">radiographic film<\/small> and other photographic materials in X-ray facilities in which any of the following radiographic or photographic materials are handled:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>all types of <small style=\"text-transform: uppercase\">screen film<\/small>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><small style=\"text-transform: uppercase\">non-screen film<\/small>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>photographic film for <small style=\"text-transform: uppercase\">indirect radiography<\/small>, as used for recording<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><small style=\"text-transform: uppercase\">output images<\/small> of X-<small style=\"text-transform: uppercase\">ray image intensifiers<\/small>,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>other transferred <small style=\"text-transform: uppercase\">radiological images<\/small>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>photographic material for copying <small style=\"text-transform: uppercase\">radiograms<\/small>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>photographic material for making permanent images of information recorded by electronic means, and presented on display tubes, for example: hard copy cameras, or printed by other electronic means, for example: laser; as used in diagnostic equipment such as for general <small style=\"text-transform: uppercase\">reconstructive tomography<\/small>, digital imaging, ultrasound, <small style=\"text-transform: uppercase\">nuclear medicine<\/small>, magnetic resonance.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The method described in this technical report is intended primarily for automatic <small style=\"text-transform: uppercase\">film processors<\/small>, but may be adapted for testing equipment for manual processing.<\/p>\n<p>This technical report is a part of a series of Particular Publications (standards and technical reports) which will describe test methods for the constancy of properties of various subsystems of diagnostic X-<small style=\"text-transform: uppercase\">ray equipment<\/small>, as described in IEC&nbsp;1223-1.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Evaluation and routine testing in medical imaging departments.
