{"id":226184,"date":"2024-10-19T14:41:59","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T14:41:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-en-627762015\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T08:36:49","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T08:36:49","slug":"bs-en-627762015","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-en-627762015\/","title":{"rendered":"BS EN 62776:2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This International Standard specifies the safety and interchangeability requirements, and the exchange operation together with the test methods and conditions required to show compliance of double-capped LED lamps with G5 and G13 caps, intended for replacing fluorescent lamps with the same caps, having:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>a<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>a<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Such LED lamps are designed for replacement without requiring any internal modification of the luminaire.<\/p>\n<p>The existing luminaires, into which the double-capped LED lamps are fitted, can be operated with electromagnetic or electronic controlgear.<\/p>\n<p>The requirements of this standard relate only to type testing.<\/p>\n<p>Recommendations for whole product testing or batch testing are given in <span class=\"xref\">Annex&nbsp;A<\/span>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  NOTE&nbsp;1\n <\/div>\n<p>Where in this standard the term \u201clamp(s)\u201d is used, it is understood to stand for \u201cdouble-capped retrofit LED lamp(s)\u201d, except where it is obviously assigned to other types of lamps.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>This standard does not cover double-capped conversion LED lamps where modification in the luminaire is required. The requirements in this standard are given for general lighting service (excluding for example explosive atmospheres).
