This document specifies requirements for service providers in the field of recreational scuba diving and snorkelling excursions.<\/p>\n
It specifies the following areas of service provision:<\/p>\n
introductory diving activities;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
snorkelling excursions;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
provision of training and education;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
organized and guided diving for qualified divers;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
rental of diving and snorkelling equipment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Service providers can offer one or more of these services. This document specifies the nature and quality of the services to the client.<\/p>\n
This document does not apply to freediving (also called \u201capnea diving\u201d).<\/p>\n
