The<br \/>\nconnector can be mounted on the PMF\/PZF pigtail of a component or<br \/>\npart of a cable assembly. Insertion loss, as used in this Standard,<br \/>\nis the measured attenuation of the interconnection, expressed in<br \/>\ndecibels.
